Jaya

Jaya is the name of Karna in Mahabharata. This name was given to Karna by the brahmins and sages when he returned victorious after conquering the world under 1 flag. All the sages shouted and composed hymns on his glories and kept his name - "Jaya". Karna was also known as Vrisha- the one who is the protector of the brahmins and the favourite of the sages.
