Sherif Mattar

Sherif Mattar is an Egyptian American actor, screenwriter, film director, recording artist and songwriter. After releasing music independently since 2015, he began his venture into the world of cinema and co-founded the production company Check The Gates Productions alongside close collaborator Marvin Edmonds. From acting to directing, producing, screenwriting and casting, there is no area of the industry he sees as off limits. A man of many hats, 2023 will see Sherif continue to bridge his passion for cinema and music together, along with new releases in film, television, and theater.
