Keith Lodge

Retired boatman living with my wife Jo on our replica working narrowboat 'Hadar', which was used in the filming of "The Golden Age of Canals". First started working part-time on a historic working narrowboat in 1968 having been taught by a man who was born and brought up on a working narrowboat. I had 'Hadar' built from new as a copy of the boat I worked on and we started carrying and selling coal from 'Hadar' in 2007. We retired from carrying coal in 2016 and now just live on the boat.
