Interrupted Journeys (2018)

Refugees waiting to find a chance to cross over the Channel to the UK spend time at a day centre in Calais run by volunteers. The centre offers water, shade and protection from police brutality. In the extreme heat of the day refugees take up the opportunity to use art materials to convey their frustration and longings, captured in this short poetic documentary.
