Take A Bullet (2019)

Logan (Talon Boggess) records a voicemail to his girlfriend, Betty (Chelsea Zamfirescu). He apologizes for his scandalous actions the previous night and invites her to come over as he's making his 'classic sloppy joes'. Betty arrives at 7:30 sharp and Logan immediately attempts to make things right with her. Betty, however, didn't come to hear an apology. She came to remove her things from his apartment and leave him. As she gathers her things, someone knocks on the door. Logan opens the door to find that it is Gomez (Adrian Reyes); the gangster whose girlfriend he hooked up with. Gomez forces himself into the apartment and kidnaps Logan. Logan awakens in a forest in the middle of nowhere. He attempts to fight for his life with the promise of sloppy joes, but Gomez ultimately assassinates him. Gomez then meets a stranger at the train station to receive a cash reward. The stranger turns out to be Betty, as she pays Gomez for his services.
