Die Kleinstadt - Ein Dokumentarfilm über Pirmasens (2018)

There are several structurally lagging regions in Germany, but the former shoe-metropolis has been severely affected by economic disaster. After the decline of its shoe industry and the withdrawal of the US-Army, the town lost a lot of jobs and many residents left their homes. However, there are still people who opted for life in Pirmasens. This film is portraying them: people who do not have much in common except their love for their town.
