To See You Smile (2018)

On the anniversary of her brother's death, Maxine (Esther Sophia Artner) meets Alika (Stratos Tzortzoglou) on a subway platform in New York City. In an attempt to cheer her up, Alika convinces Maxine to skip work and spend the day together. The two strangers form a unique bond of compassion and friendship. Alika re-discovers his youthful spirit and helps Maxine work through the trauma of her deceased brother.
