Early in the movie, Constantine summons a helper in a female human form. She calls herself the "Nightmare Nurse," and comments on how well Constantine performs in the sack. A few minutes later, it is revealed that the human form is not her true form, but she is actually a demon. The connection can be made by the viewer that Constantine previously had sex with this demon.

A scene in the movie takes place in a torture room where humans are in various forms of nude torture. While the scene lacks nudity beyond full buttocks, one of the tortured humans has bats flying out of his anus.

A woman has intercourse with Constantine in a bar's public washrooms. There is kissing and undressing. No actual nudity is shown.

While the violence is not constant, there are several scenes with a high level of blood and gore. Scenes include small demons being graphically crushed, smashed, or ripped apart; humans in various states of torture including nails repeatedly driven into their bodies and decapitation with spraying/splattering blood; and scenes of mass slaughter.

There are several instances of the misuse of Jesus Christ's name. There are many other curse words/explicit phrases/words used, but the violence and gore is so intense that the curse words may not be easily noticed.

Constantine is a character who smokes cigarettes regularly, this is not changed for this story. Several characters consume alcohol, including to the point of being drunk and vomiting.

This is a horror movie, and as mentioned in the violence and sex sections, there are several instances of torture and extreme gore. The story surrounds demons, as such, many demonic characters are present throughout the movie that may appear frightening or intense to some viewers. The movie aims more for gruesome than terrifying, but there are still a couple of moments that might scare some viewers.
