Dark Road Possession (2018)

This film revolves around an infamous dark road in the town, which is rumored to be possessed by the girl's ghost who died while saving herself from eve-teasing. It's also a story of 3 friends, who chat over tea every evening, and one of them goes via that road. He meets someone on that dark road one night. How things take twists and turn with the fusion of a love story and paranormal elements, ending up with some social messages, is the fabric of this film. One social message is particularly related to a problem in south asia "but not limited to" and the other is related to a global problem. In spirit both the issues relate to some of the fundamental rights endowed to citizens in constitution, like Right to Equality, Right to freedom of movement, Right to protection of life, dignity and personal liberty. The central point of movie brings forward the question of justice, but in an entertaining way, not with preaching and speeches.
