High Noon" meets "Brawl in Cell Block 99". On the eve of his retirement, a hard-nosed, unpopular, old-school cop is informed that a mob boss that he sent down ten years ago has been released from prison and that he is on his way back to town to exact revenge, just as he was about to leave town for good with his wife in an attempt, one final time to redeem their failing marriage As a heavy snowstorm begins to shut the town off from any outside help the policeman desperately tries to gather support for the stand-off he knows is coming with his nemesis and his gang brutal thugs. No guns, but pool cues, knives, bats and hammers are all considered fair tools on the table and most probably the table itself.
