The Hospital Room (2018)

'The Hospital Room' is a comedy about two seventyish mismatched hospital roommates, one a cranky businessman terrified at the prospect of upcoming surgery and the other a salt of the earth yet extremely irritating blue collar type with a long history of medical problems. After a rocky start, the two begin to overcome their differences until a revelation threatens their burgeoning friendship. This film was adapted for the screen from the award-winning stage play "The Hospital Room" by playwright Marv Siegel who co-produced it with award-winning documentary filmmaker Steve Besserman. Both producers reside in an adult community in New Jersey and the entire creative team, cast and crew is comprised of residents of that community.
