A case occurred in the 1930's in Brazil that shows us examples of charity and gratitude. The story protagonist is José Martins Fontes (1884-1937), a famous doctor and poet born in the city of Santos. Martins Fontes is considered the best poet of his generation in lusophony and one of the ten best in the Portuguese language. The film's title is the same as the best known poem by Martins Fontes, and it was also considered his motto of life. The film is an independent production, whose project was contemplated by the 5th Contest of Support to Cultural Independent Projects in the Municipality of Santos (2016), with resources from the Cultural Assistance Fund - FACULT, managed by the Municipal Culture Secretariat. In order to make the project accomplishable, the director Carlos Oliveira got the collaboration of several arts and audiovisual prefessionals, as well as the cultural support of city organizations that gave away costumes, period objects, archival material and spaces for film locations and production offices.
