Whirlpool (2018)

Jimmy keeps himself busy with hobbies, his father is in the early stages of dementia, Jimmy cares for him from a distance, visiting rarely, paying the old man's bills but when Jimmy realizes that the carer assigned to look after his father is less than trustworthy, Jimmy has to step up to the mark and take responsibility for his widowed parent.
