Against the backdrop of an isolated fishing village, two heartbroken souls navigate work, loneliness, and a brutal winter. With some of the town's local characters, they ruminate on love and life, while winter drags on, battling the landscape and the effect it has on them. A near collision finally brings them together and sparks an unlikely love story.
