Theaterman Hans-Peter and craftsman Rocco want to bring the ruins of a theatre to new splendor. Hans-Peter plans the Don Quijote as a first performance and when reality once again puts a brake on it, this very one appears to him: The true Don Quixote of La Mancha - knight of sad figure and symbol of human hubris. But there's something wrong with him at all.
