Bonnie and her Farmhouse Bonnie is a nine year old girl who lives on a large farm. She lives in a broken and a dysfunctional family of four. Mother, father and her little sister with special needs. She also has an extended family in form of all the animals on the farm. She talks to them, feeds them and communes with them. She believes animals should be dealt the same respect that humans receive. Living in the farm where her father is a butcher, she develops a tender affection for one particular animal. This story revolves around the steadfastness and her commitment towards this special animal friend, who is awaiting its inevitable day under the butcher's knife. Does Bonnie let the unthinkable happen? Is she able to challenge the status quo? Or does it pass under the butcher's knife like the other animals?
