Gloucester Cathedral (2010)

Purple Knight Productions is proud to present the Gloucester Cathedral Film, a documentary style 48 minute film covering the fantastic history, architecture, stained glass windows, music and worship through our presenter, Ellis J Wells and interviews with key people. We interviewed master mason Pascal Mychalysin about the architecture, and the ongoing renovation and restoration of the stonework that is helping preserve the design for future generations, Robin Lunn about the wonderful stained glass windows, which represent some of the best arts and crafts movement windows in the country, Canon Celia Thomson about the worship that is central to the continued existence and flourishing of the Cathedral and Musical Director Adrian Partington. Also featured is organ music played by Ashley Grote and bell-ringing demonstrated by Mary Chapman.
