A graphic rape scene in the first episode.

Notorious for its first episode rape scene. An inexperienced party gets caught off guard by goblins. One of the girls is raped. We see them tear off her clothes and stand behind her. She is positioned in a way where we can't see anything explicit and then we get a quick cut of nails going into her flesh followed by her crying. The camera cuts away as we see the surviving party leave with her cries in the background. Not too explicit but very emotionally distressing.

Cow Girl, Goblin Slayer's childhood friend, is shown to be nude on occasions.

Many rape scenes or ripping of clothes, mostly in form of short flashbacks.

Bloody scenes

The show is a very dark, mature and graphic anime. Goblin Slayer maims and brutally kills adult and child goblins, along with demons and ogres. The show also contains a very controversial assault scene in its debut episode.

There are frequent uses of Damn, Hell and Bastard. Infrequent use of Shit in the dub.

The goblins may appear frightening for some.
