Where do you go - who do you turn to - when home is where the harm is? Living with family violence, young mother Kitty and her son Tom create a fort that transports them to a series of fantasy worlds that provide an escape the hostilities they face at home. But, when reality overtakes fantasy, can Kitty find a way to free them permanently from their abusive home life?
