Madalena is Sonia's mother, who is Julia's mother, who is Camilla's mother. Four generations of women struggling with their differences yet locked in events and tragedies that are so intertwined. Avoiding the maudlin approach, the story focus on the character's struggles and pains with a glance of intimacy.
