A Thousand Clouds (1998)

Dark clouds pass over a large Victorian house where each apartment has its own story: A writer's life is threatened if he publishes his next book; an arrogant model takes a vanity drug with disastrous side effects; a naïve lesbian couple are desperate to have a baby at any cost; an attractive, innocent young girl's life is in ruins after she is diagnosed with the AIDS virus; and the lifetime friendship between two couples turns septic with jealousy, leading to deception, robbery, violence, and murder.
