Father's Rights follows four divorced fathers from different sectors of Israeli society - one of Russian background, one of Yemenite background, one a secular Israeli and one who attended a yeshiva. Over six years, filmmaker Isri Halpern followed them in everything they had to go through. The film contributed to re-examining the Israeli Family Law Act which formerly favoured women mostly in child-care issues.
