Purple follows the lives of Yani, Aaliyah, Samira and Izzy; childhood friends who are all individually trying to cope with their supernatural abilities. In the midst of modern day London, the protagonists deal with the unfortunate systemic lingering effects of trauma, racism, and sexism. "I might be crazy, but my crazy is my own.
