Bluebird (2017)

This film is based on the poem "Bluebird" by Charles Bukowski. The poem addresses Bukowski's inner emotions. Like many other men, Bukowski struggled to live up to societal notions of masculinity. This struggle caused madness which he suppressed through alcohol. Barbara, Bukowski's attractive love interest, is not happy with him and starts consuming alcohol herself to suppress her frustration.
