Eighteen years ago Wim suffered a cerebral infarction. Since then he suffers from what is called 'locked-in syndrome', which means that he is not able to talk or move. For the last couple of years he has been living at home, taken care of by his wife. To allow their mother a weekend off, the three sons, Will, Edwin and Bram, take over care by themselves. For the first time the four men are totally reliant on each other for days.
