Undefended_Feature (2014)

The foundational consciousness that determines how we treat our lovers is often the same algorithm for how we treat the earth. This is a subtle love letter from one human to another on the subject of sex, earth, survival, and democracy. This Taoist-Tantric poem suggests that the ecological, psychological, and biological solution to the next wave of humanity will be found in the art of being not defensive nor defenseless, but rather Undefended. The narrative comes from actual love letters that are both beautiful and devastating on a visceral level, while the abstract visuals include global healing ceremonies, contemporary dance, and animal rescue footage that applies the philosophy of being Undefended to not only our lovers, but to U.S. foreign policy and corporate transparency.
