D Is for Detroit

Three childhood best friends, Shaun Tillman, Caleb Kaufman and Hannah Townsend, separated by the cultures and identities that define them, but bridged by the things they shared - basketball, sarcasm, Slurpees, Nikes and fractured homes - have their lifelong friendships tested as adults when Caleb returns home to Detroit. Three years after Caleb abandoned his life and moved to Paris, the three best friends are forced to reckon with things left behind: family and friendship, escapism and lyricism, and lastly - love and loss.
