After the resounding success of Woodstock (1970), filmmaker and political activist Michael Wadleigh came to Hollywood to send messages. Wolfen, loosely based on Whitley Strieber's bestseller began production in New York, Oct 1979. It took almost two years to finish. Wadleigh would never complete a major motion picture. This is the story of Wolfen, but it is also a very real story on the world we live in today. Thoughtful, tragic, lyrical and eerily prophetic, Wolfen is a film awaiting rediscovery.
