Skating on Thin Uys (1985)

When Evita Bezuidenhout, member of the diplomatic corps, negotiates South African oil leases with the government of Bapetikosweti, the resulting agreement involves a wedding with an surprise outcome. Satirist and playwright Pieter-Dirk Uys plays his alter ego Evita Bezuidenhout and other members of her family in this comedy that lampoons life in South Africa under apartheid.
