Trapped in a Box (2014)

A documentary by Martina Lopez, this film sheds light on what it feels like to be agoraphobic and experience the fears and anxieties that can plague a person's life. It follows the stories of Steve, Katie and Martina as they discuss their childhoods, what led up to their problems and how it all started. They reveal how their lives deteriorated, but also how they were able to overcome their fears, improve their lives and become happier. They offer advice for people on how to conquer their fears and what therapy is helpful, as well as offering tips on how to help someone with agoraphobia.
