John Fortuna chooses his crime family over his own blood relatives, leaving behind his wife, son and daughter, by faking his death in order to protect his criminal enterprise. 24 years later, his son- now a NYC Police Detective, gets approached by the ATF with revealing news that his father is likely alive, after a DNA test proves the body in Fortuna Sr's grave is that of someone else. Fortuna Jr. feeling betrayed, abandoned and lied to, begins a personal manhunt for the man he once called daddy.
