HOSTILE ENGAGEMENT is an action/comedy about a highly-skilled intelligence agent who takes on the most challenging mission of his career when he attempts to break off his daughter's engagement to a man he doesn't trust. Tonally, it's MR. & MRS. SMITH crossed with MEET THE PARENTS - a father/daughter/fiancé story with real stakes and relatable emotions, but it never loses its sense of fun. We can all relate to the tension that goes along with a father getting to know his future son-in-law. But when the father is a control freak that doesn't trust his daughter to make her own decisions, it's that much worse. And when it happens in the midst of car chases, gunfights, explosions and international intrigue, the situation skyrockets to a whole different level.
