Love of the Lanes (2013)

Love of the Lanes is a semi scripted documentary/personal narrative/dream fantasy realism short about the campus bowling alley: Oberlin College Lanes. It follows the story of a girl who works as a lane attendant at a bowling alley. This girl hears countless love stories of people meeting and falling in love at the lanes, and she desperately wishes that would happen to her. She anxiously waits for her dream man to appear, but instead finds love in the unique characters who frequent the lanes and their dedication to bowling. The bowling coach and lanes manager, Tom Reid teaches her the zen and the art of bowling.
