Taking a controversial look at "anyman" in today's society, this is the story of a writer plagued by the problems of his time, especially by psychological barriers of his own creation. The story of a writer who is not writing. It might be called a modern morality play because the hero - who is nameless - is both the antagonist and the protagonist. The nameless hero goes from a negative attitude to a positive one. It's a complete cycle in which social conflict parallel the mans personal problems. The director's refusal to work with a finished script enabled a creative team of eight to experiment. A hand-held camera was used throughout. Each sequence was filmed, edited, scored before going on to the next. The artists involved were chosen primarily by their answer to one question: What do you want to say to the world? A common vision that brought them together, held them together as the film evolved. The title warned the filmmakers - just as the filmmakers hope it will warn the public - be aware of what's around you, be attuned to the times to avoid trouble in these times.
