Homophobic Friends (2011)

A brazen deconstruction of the renowned TV series 'Friends' sheds new light on homophobic attitudes in contemporary Western culture. Pushing the form of the YouTube-style cut-up in a more analytical direction, but avoiding any potentially falsifying commentary or misleading montage, Homophobic Friends emulates the aesthetics of the original series in order to allow 'Friends' itself to reveal its fluctuating, insinuative reactions to homosexuality.
