Damaged Goods (2013)

Zippo (Mark Cummings) and his sister Nelly (Alex Stead) live a feral lifestyle where school is an option and their drunken father Les (Tony Howard) shows little interest. However, when they find a badly-injured dog, a ray of light sparks in their dark, dreary existence. Upon nursing the dog, whom they name Carlos, back to health, they decide to keep him, But when the town's underbelly takes a keep interest in Carlos, Zippo realizes that they're in a race against time to save him from being dragged back into the brutal underworld from which he has just escaped.
