Aufzeichnungen zum Widerstand (2006)

Protagonist of the film is the Austrian resistance fighter Harry Spiegel, who had fought in the 30s in Spain on the part of the Republicans against Franco. Harry's stories are visualized in the form of sound documents, drawings and animations; friends and colleagues remember him and talk about their joint activities in interviews. The film gives a complex and differentiated picture of a generation of anti-fascists who opposed the regimes of Dollfuss / Schuschnigg, Franco and Hitler.
