Lost Cause (2013)

Scott Dorfman's real life quest for superstardom served as the inspiration for this comedy about a wannabe actor named Danny, who is convinced that if he just got the right breaks he could be the next Bruce Willis! Danny's career struggle is complicated by an unsupportive family, a girlfriend that's fed up, and a stubborn will that refuses to throw in the towel so that he can afford such luxuries as food, clothing and shelter. The odds are against this kamikaze thespian, but dreams die hard and in the end Danny might just prove he's not the lost cause everyone thinks he is.
