I'm not not not Chen Zhou is an experimental film produced by the young Chinese director. In this surrealist portrait of the Chinese art world, Chen Zhou has created multiple versions of himself and other people. The script has been dispensed all together and with his doppelgangers, Chen Zhou immerses the audience in a field of loose associations that reflect a disjointed reality unfolding in China. Inspired by his daily life, the artist is curious about the forces of decision making in the daily world. The color yellow is used as an underlying motif. Seemingly an arbitrary gesture, it is a mischievous pun on the relationship color yellow has in relationship to the medium of film in China.
