In order for the viewer to guess individual Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov in the names of ILFIPETROV, the authors have collected an impressive evidence base: living evidence was obtained in Moscow, Odessa, Yaroslavl, Paris, New York; in an exact repetition of the route of "One-story America", in the miraculously preserved family archives.
