This Shining City

A racially charged crime drives a wedge through a small Northeastern town, and Art Ruskin, must decide whether he'll exploit it in an attempt to salvage his congressional seat. We also follow an angry bakery-owner who transforms herself into a right-wing political star, and a young Latina filmmaker who's seduced by a liberal's impassioned rhetoric. Each character's selfish needs further corrupts their ideology as this gritty drama races toward its climactic end.
