Picture Stories on the Road (2010)

Picture Stories on the Road is a documentary about a young man who works as a dispatch for a community center. His job is to go out and perform Picture Story Shows, a popular form of children's entertainment from before the days of television in Japan. It follows him as he attempts to write and perform a new Picture Story Show of his own creation. We get a detailed look at the life of a man in a struggle to impress his audience while dealing with the after-affects of a medical condition.
