Walk Thru Smoke (2005)

Morgan Pressman used to be a probation officer for over 15 years. He finally got fed up with a system that he couldn't change, so he left and became a teacher at a community college. Along the way, he lost a lot of dreams, his personal life and drowned himself in his anger...but he helped a lot of young people. One friend was to visit him...but she never showed up. For the last 2 days, Morgan's been beaten up, robbed, almost shot and stabbed...and why...he has no idea...then he's told that she's been murdered. That kind of math isn't hard to do. After being brushed off by everyone...he meets a cab driver, who drove his friend around. He's doing the same for Morgan. Now Morgan.....wants some answers.....
