Hard Time (2013)

Robert Hillary King, is the only freed member of the Angola Three. He spent twenty nine years in solitary confinement for a crime he did not commit. Hard Time is a film about King, his life and how he came to develop the profound political understanding he has about the inequities of the society he lives in. Hard Time is a one-hour documentary about the personal evolution of a man, from a life of poverty in rural Louisiana, through the state corrections system, to becoming a political activist who has devoted his life to the plight of political prisoners in the United States.
