One repeatedly head butts his singing teacher, and the other forces his dance instructor to dance bare footed on broken glass until his feet bleed.

In another scene, we briefly see a very bloody axe blade, followed by sight of a man with blood on his face and clothes who has apparently been tortured by a gangster.

However, there is no emphasis on injuries.

There is a scene in which a boy almost pours cleaning fluid into a singer's mouth, innocently believing it will help 'clean' his dusty throat.

However, the boy's mother prevents this happening and chastises him for his action.
