Make Me Louder (2013)

Lee is the only deaf person in his family and has always felt detached from them. He has grown up constantly questioning his identity and his place in the deaf or hearing world. His dream is to be able to communicate better with his family and become a professional actor. He decides to have a cochlear implant operation to replace his hearing aids. The procedure promises a much improved sense of hearing. But how will it affect his career and his relationship with his family, friends and the hearing world?
