The 'Myth' in Mythology

The story of Durga and Mahishasur is deconstructed from the Mahishasur's viewpoint, and examined by various scholars from the country, along with the tribal people who still commemorate the loss of their hero at the same time while the rest of the country celebrates the victory over him. It's an ancient conspiracy against lower castes and it is being elevated to facilitate a deeper inequality in the society.
