This film is regarding a serialized novel that has gone on for forty years. It concerns many murder cases, which involve the affairs of the heart. The focus and inspiration is on true murder cases. Comprised of two fifty-minute episodes the first one focuses on a novelist for the magazine. She became famous for her writing while still at university. She has only one successful work under her belt. She is the daughter of a famous novelist. After her mother's death she was busy working with her mother's output. She is disappointed, but accepts a job offer from the magazine. The second episode revolves around another writer who takes a case to the editor. The case involved multiple victims in the Tokyo area. The suspect used the internet and dating organizations to bilk money from money in exchange for sex. Two of the victims are dead and one was almost murdered.
