Arctic Dreams (2012)

Arctic Dreams is an action-filled documentary of a unique fly fishing adventure for giant sea-run Arctic char high above the Arctic Circle on the wild Ekaluk River, an ancient Inuit Eskimo fishing grounds. Today, a native-run commercial fishery and a native-run sport fishing camp vie for common access to the 80,000+ fish that migrate up the river from the Arctic Ocean during only two weeks each year. Arctic Dreams goes fishing with the residents of both camps and explores the rich natural, archaeological and cultural resources of this stark yet beautiful environment.
