Manifest Destiny

Alexander Thompson is the youngest post master in history, and the great great great great grandson of the legendary ski-mail-carrier "Snowshoe Thompson". When he is given a citation for allowing an unauthorized tour of his post office, he is rallied by the many memories and legends of his ancestors- from building a logging empire, to serving in two world wars- to resign and purchase the newly privatized post office from the United States government with the gold his legendary grandfather found on one of his ski trips in 1860.
